Mapping Relationships Between Airship Original Design and Stability Modes

In this paper, we study the influence of an original airship design on its stability modes. Based verified model YEZ-2A airship, Sobol sensitivities are calculated to filter parameters. The hull length, slenderness ratio hull, exponent tail, fin installation position and half-span found be large influences all modes, whereas modes comparatively insensitive bow relative thickness. empirical formulas for mapping relationships fitted experimental data by both root locus diagrams. representing between parameters mode can used as references simplify estimate performance in preliminary airship.
